Qualification:

• B.E. /B.Sc. (Mechanical / Automotive Engineering or Relevant)
• An additional degree in MBA will be a plus.

Experience:

• Minimum 07 years of relevant experience.

• Demonstrate sound knowledge of Automotive (Diesel and Petrol) engines operation / troubleshooting and maintenance (Electrical & Mechanical)
• Experience of Fleet Management / Fleet Operations in a large size Company with at least a fleet of 70 to 80 vehicles
• Ability to effectively control mileage of fleet, drivers’ extra-duty and messing charges etc.
• Ability to understand operation and maintenance of earth moving equipment, cranes, fork lifters etc.
• Ability to use CMMS for managing spare parts/ inventory.
• Ability to work in complex environment and experience in handling workers/contractors etc.
• Proficient in use of MS Office applications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The position will be responsible for:

• Managing auto workshop operation and daily maintenance activities,
• Handling daily vehicle log sheets and prioritize job plan accordingly,
• Developing and implementing SOP for safe operation of fleet vehicles,
• Scheduling and planning preventive maintenance/ Corrective maintenance of all fleet equipment,
• Delegating and managing all vehicle requirement efficiently,
• Maintaining 3^rd party inspections / certifications for the equipment / machinery,
• Coordination with Procurement Department for purchase of spare parts and ensure inventory control for managing operation and maintenance of fleet,
• Preparing OPEX and CAPEX Budget,
• Local vendor development for carrying out emergency maintenance,
• Implementing Company Policy & Procedures to execute daily operations effectively,
• Managing staff and ensure their need for training and development.
