Job Summary:

The trainer will be based at UCH Project Office – Karachi. He/She will be responsible to design and teach computer course to students enrolled in morning/evening classes. Main duties would include developing course curricula and content, manage class room, troubleshoot any technology services for staff, implement class room activities in consistent with the student management issues.

Job Description:

• Computer Trainer are responsible for design, facilitate, and teach the computer instruction component hard or soft components.
• Prepare execute lesson plans, assigning tasks, and evaluating student work and progress.
• Organize, maintain and manage class systems in proper working condition.
• Teach students and learners to use computers.
• Design and develop appropriate computer instructional material.
• Manage and monitor student behavior.
• Initiate and implement systems, procedures and other student management issues.
• Develop and implement lesson plans and classroom activities in consistent with the student management issues.
• Determine and troubleshoot technology services for staff.
• Integrate special lesson plans with core academic curriculum.
• Ensure students acquire and consolidate knowledge, skills and understanding appropriate to the subject taught.
• Check the students work efficiently and thoroughly.
• Any other duty assigned by line Supervisors.

Job Specification:

• MCS/BSc in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field
• Proven work experience as an IT Trainer, Technical Trainer or similar role
• Experience designing technical course material
• Familiarity with web-based learning platforms and modern educational techniques
• Good understanding of corporate computer security principles
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical terms plainly
• Additional certification in training (e.g. Certified Technical Trainer) is a plus
