General Position Summary
The Security Manager works closely with the field Security Officers/Security Focal Points, Operations Manager, Heads of Offices, Director of Program/ Director of TB Program and the Country Director, to ensure that the security management plan and standard operating procedures are in place and are fully implemented. The Security Manager provides regular feedback to relevant people to ensure compliance with security procedures. S/he is responsible for reviewing and keeping the plans and procedures up to date, making assessments of the prevailing security situation of Mercy Corps Pakistan’s areas of operation, keeping the senior management team (SMT) apprised of important threats, vulnerabilities and risks.
