General Surgeon ( Part Time/ Full Time) 

Normeca International AS is seeking a skilled and dedicated General Surgeon to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is essential in our mission to provide high-quality surgical care to the rural areas of Pakistan. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of surgical procedures and ensuring comprehensive patient care before, during, and after surgery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a range of general surgical procedures, ensuring the highest standards of care.
• Assess patients’ medical conditions and determine appropriate surgical interventions.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to plan and execute surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients' conditions throughout surgery and manage any complications that arise.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including patient consultations and follow-up appointments.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation.
• Adhere to all surgical protocols, safety standards, and regulations.
• Educate patients and their families on surgical procedures, recovery processes, and postoperative care.
• Stay updated with advancements in surgical techniques and best practices.
• Participate in continuous medical education and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid medical license to practice as a General Surgeon.
• Proven experience as a General Surgeon.
• Strong knowledge of general surgical procedures, techniques, and safety protocols.
• Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in emergency situations.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
• Proficiency in English is an advantage.
• Willingness to work in non-standard conditions in rural areas.
